Hi,
I am writing to introduce you to La Sargento de la Concepci?n, a fully orchestrated 3-act opera in Spanish that I composed.At this time, I am planning to produce the opera along with Director Larry Fuller who directed “Carousel”, the “Music Man” and other Broadway shows; and Set Designer Ray Klausen who has worked on the set for the Academy Awards and for celebrities including Elton John, Cher and Linda Carter and others.He has won three Emmy Awards, two Academy Awards and one Cher Award.
La Sargento de la Concepci?n is based on a ‘lost’ true story of a brave woman who followed her loved one to war and conceived a child in the midst of battle.The project is unique in that it brings South American history to life through typical Chilean dances and stylized folk music. I am very excited about the project and to be working with a distinguished production crew and cast of talented artists.

The opera will take place at the 630-seat Kaye Playhouse Theatre in New York. Financial support is crucial at this time for the project to be performed on the scheduled date of September 22, 2012.
